Meeting Drake

I introduced you all to Audrey, our female face of the movement, back in November. Now, it's time to introduce our male focus, Drake.

Like Audriana, Drake has inspiration of his own. He is another diamond in the rough, ready to shine where people can truly see him. He, too, has a story.

"I think we all have a story of pain and heartbreak. A story that may still have the power to bring a tear to our eye. As I sit here, it's easy to remember mine, but why wouldn't it be? The pain makes it hard to forget.

Heartbreak is a different kind of pain, a kind that can leave us feeling empty, alone. It can be so intense that our bodies ache. Theoretically wounded, we need a period of healing. They say time heals all wounds, and to a point, I agree. But what I think is that the pain changes us - strengthens us.

With pain comes strength. Time passes and we grow from it, learn from it, overcome it, and eventually forgive. Forgiveness isn't an easy feat, but once it occurs... Life, love, happiness, it can all go on.

So don't give up if you've had your heart broken. It has only helped shape you into the person you are today, the person you need to be. A stronger person came out of that story of pain and heartbreak. Someone courageous enough to take a change on love, despite what you've been through. Don't ever lose that courage, because love is out there."

Lust is everywhere we turn; it's easy to choose lust because love can sometimes be that painful, as Drake described. One thing that's important to remember, is that love doesn't hurt - people do. Don't let past heartbreak prevent you from accepting future happiness. Embrace the good & the bad, because it all intertwines.

I could not be happier with my choice of Drake & Audriana representing Love > Lust. Their words alone prove that I made the right decision.
